Urban Nature Atlas (Visual stories)

Cities face mounting challenges from climate change, making nature-based solutions (NBS) essential for urban well-being. The Urban Nature Atlas, developed by Central European University, is the most comprehensive database of NBS projects globally, showcasing innovative approaches to inspire action and awareness.

Leading my team, we created visual stories for two unique NBS projects: an open garden in Tanzania irrigated with handwashing water and a wetland conservation initiative in Zimbabwe. These tools combined detailed illustrations, 3D visuals, and concise explanations, offering an engaging way to communicate the potential of NBS. By translating complex ideas into accessible visuals, we highlighted how these solutions effectively address urban climate challenges.
